The wee Scottie dog so obsessed he lost his name…
Hello, you lovely Pet Parent, you!
Wee Jack loved scampering around the hills near his home.
It was popular with dog walkers and he spent hours with the other dogs running around, chasing haggis, and clambering on rocks to stare panting at the shimmering loch stretched out below.
But too often, that view, that moment, would be interrupted by the sight of a dumped black poo bag waving wildly in the wind.
Wee Jack’s mum and dad were horrified and would carry on something terrible whenever they found one.
Apparently the bags could last hundreds and hundreds of years, the plastic slowly breaking down into smaller and smaller pieces.
Those micro bits of plastic then spread through the countryside infecting all they touched.
Wee Jack’s Poo Bag Nightmares
Instead of simply enjoying the loch and the hills, Wee Jack gradually took on his pet parent’s anger.
He began having nightmares of an eternal poo bag future, bags of poo everywhere, flapping madly and sending micro bits of plastic both up the hills and down into the loch.
His mum and dad said they could help by getting some bags that were biodegradable…
They didn’t realise that was a lot easier to say than to do… but more on Wee Jack’s Biodegradable Poop Bag Adventures next week,
