Box of Treats Game – DIY Brain Games for Dogs

Hello, you lovely Pet Parent, you!

We love super easy, super quick, super simple, and super fun DIY Happiness Games for dogs, especially if they help improve your dog’s confidence and the Box of Treats does just that.

When your dog is lacking in confidence, it shows in how reactive they are to other dogs and people, so it’s important to work on your dog’s confidence. The box of treats game does this as it encourages your dog to check out new things that they might otherwise be a bit unsure of.

What do you need for the Box of Treats Game?

  1. An empty cardboard box.
  2. Some deliciously tasty Bounce and Bella treats.

How to Play the Box of Treats Game.

  1. Take your empty box and open it up.
  2. Throw in some of your Bounce and Bella treats into the box.
  3. Leave the box on the ground for your dog and let them do their thing and sniff out the tasty treats and retrieve/eat them.

NB
Be sure to keep an eye on your dog throughout and clear away afterwards – definitely don’t want them munching on bits of cardboard during or after.

Here’s the Box of Treats Game

Lessons Learned?

Make sure the box is completely empty before throwing in the treats and that there aren’t any receipts or pieces of paper still inside.

Make sure to close the flaps of the box slightly so it’s not entirely easy for your dog to just go in and eat the treats.
