Are You Ready to Enter the Olympics?
Have you ever found yourself up at 1am staring at a screen willing a woman from the Solomon Islands (and the only member of the entire Solomon Islands team) to lift her next set of weights – praying that she gets that bronze medal?
That is the wondrous beauty of the Olympics. Something you’d never usually watch becomes a compelling late-night battle of wills that you can’t switch off.
And it starts today!
It’s highly unlikely any of us are going to make an Olympic team, but it can certainly create in us an urge to try it for fun or to test ourselves or just to get a bit fitter.
It’s similar to Crufts and the agility competitions.
Will we ever get our dogs to Crufts?
Possible but unlikely.
However, a weekly agility training session with our dogs will absolutely help with their focus, boost their happiness and fitness, bond us closer, and make them much more likely to listen to us.
Are you Ready to Enter the Olympics Competition?
On Wednesday, I’m doing an Instagram Live with Abi from Bristol & Bath Agility.
Abi is a multiple Cruft Agility Winner and has represented Great Britain twice at the IFCS world agility championships, winning an individual gold medal and a team bronze with her Collie Oggy.
Combined with her wealth of experience training and competing herself, Abi is also a dedicated trainer working with various pet parents and their dogs.
On Wednesday, she’d be explaining all the benefits of agility for us regular pet parents, and one of us will be offered a place on her online agility foundation course!
How to Enter
We’re running this competition across our email, blog and Instagram, so there are THREE chances to enter and potentially win a prize, with winners being selected across all platforms.

Well, funny thing, I was planning to buy a new laptop, but unexpected bills kept eating up my savings. A friend suggested rolldorado, so I decided to check it out. I lost a few rounds at first, but then I risked more on a slot game and finally scored a significant win. The excitement and special bonuses for players in Canada made it even more enjoyable. Now it’s my favorite way to unwind and chase small wins.
I’ve noticed that having the right system in place makes a huge difference even for regular fitness goals. For example, when I was looking for something practical to keep me accountable, I came across a madmuscles review . What stood out to me was how personalized their approach felt it didn’t just throw generic workouts at me but actually helped me stick with routines that fit into real life.
What a delightful read! Your comparison between the Olympics and dog agility training really resonated with me. It’s true—sometimes the most unexpected events become our late-night obsessions. Just like cheering for an underdog athlete, watching our dogs navigate agility courses brings out a similar excitement. For those interested in connecting with local teams, the Glasgow Clan phone number is a great resource to get in touch with the team. Whether it’s for tickets, merchandise, or just to learn more about the sport, reaching out can enhance the experience. Looking forward to more insightful posts like this!
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
