Striking tomorrow – Thursday 24th Nov
Striking Friday 25th Nov
Working Monday 28th Nov
Working Tuesday 29th Nov
Striking Weds 30th Nov
Striking Thurs 1st Dec

Monday and Tuesday are work days, but the huge backlog caused by the 2 strike days coming on Black Friday Sales days will make the Royal Mail’s attempt to catch up very very difficult.

It’s going to be utter mail mayhem probably until about Weds 7th Dec.

Even then Christmas deliveries will be keeping their system full to blocked.

Please be patient …

In practice this means that Royal Mail are adding about 7 days to delivery times.

Please be patient with us and allow for this as much as you can.

It will have a completely randomising effect on deliveries because some items will get stuck in piles of backlogged sacks while newly posted items might skim through.

You’d think it would be first come first served but having chatted to many posties over the years it doesn’t work that way in practice.

Please, please do get in touch with us if after that extra week the parcel still hasn’t turned up – we accept responsibility for all parcels from all couriers – and we’ll sort it out.

However being such a small firm – we do just have Lucy helping you with problems – so if you could just give Royal Mail parcels longer than usual that will help her hugely.
